The promenade is home to most specialty restaurants, shops, and fun bar areas. So we tend to spend most of our days on the Lido deck, and our nights on the Promenade deck. There are several parties held throughout the cruise including the Mega Deck Party, the White Hot Night Party, and the 80’s Rock and Glow Party. These parties are either held in the Atrium or on the Lido deck. Get your dancing shoes ready as the cruise director Emma and her entertainment team bring high energy to all these events.
Panorama Deck Plan
While bathrooms on cruise ships are typically very small, the bathrooms on the Panorama are actually a pretty decent size. Towards the back of the ship on the Lido Deck is the Tides Pool. Here you’ll find the only 2 hot tubs available to kids and adults. The Pizza place (open until 4 am!) is also here as is the Seafood Shack (which costs extra). I recommend coming in a day before your cruise to make sure you dont have any travel problems (the ship won’t wait for you!).
For quieter evenings, I enjoy free Dive-In Movies on the big screen by the pool.
For those looking for a bit of seclusion without paying the price, Deck 15 has two whirlpools in the adults-only Serenity area, but no pool. Watching sunsets from here and chatting with fellow passengers became an evening tradition for us. The Tides pool is at the back of the ship on Deck 10, overlooking the wake. Like the Beach pool, it has a whirlpool on either side, though these have no shade. One deck below Sky Zone (and linked with its own staircase) is the also strategically placed Warehouse Arcade on Deck 6.
Unlike other cruises I've experienced, my Carnival Panorama bathroom always comes stocked with plenty of towels.

The aquapark has 2 distinctly different waterslides (location Deck 12) - named "Red Fun" (455-ft / 139-m long) and "Blue Fun" (300-ft / 91-m long). Foodies will also appreciate all the Carnival Panorama specialty restaurants, particularly some standout pan-Asian offerings. But what's particularly great about this ship is you don't have to shell out money to have a tasty meal. There is plenty of included food, and while service in the main dining room leaves something to be desired, everything is generally yummy. We actually found we enjoyed the food in the buffet to be better and ate dinner there a few times. Lido Deck Buffett – You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. Breakfast is typically pretty busy as most of the ship’s passengers eat here. Lunch is a little less crowded because passengers like to enjoy other options. Rooms of this type feature great views, a full bathroom - plus a separate washroom - and while stateroom configurations vary, certain Deluxe Ocean View rooms have space to sleep up to five cruisers. I also thought our spa passes were well worth the extra $40 to enjoy the thermal pool and saunas.
I thought Carnival's Cloud 9 Spa was a great place for that and a 2-day pass cost just $40 for unlimited use of the thermal pool and various sauna facilities. I also spent nearly $100 on specialty lattes, americanos, frappes, and mochas at Java Blue Café. I could have spent zero if I relied solely on the free coffee in the buffet, though. With this itinerary in mind, my friend and I thought $437 was an incredible deal for our individual cabins. I'm already plotting ahead to when I can do this sailing again as a solo traveler on my own. For this particular sailing, I booked my cabin seven weeks in advance, so it's quite possible to find great rates without too much advance planning.
